Hi there — I’m Miranda Szczesny better known as Miranda Sketch Art. I'm a Philadelphia-based illustrator, graphic designer, and artist. My work lives at the intersection of playfulness, abstract style, and meaningful emotion — whether I’m designing a custom print, a pattern, or a piece of art.

My Journey & Vision: 

Growing up, I always found solace in art — sketching in margins, doodling in notebooks, experimenting with color – my AP art portfolio was truly all over the place because I wanted to experiment with every material and color. Over time, that early love evolved into a professional commitment: to design with intention, to craft visuals that speak, and to bring joy into everyday spaces.

Through formal studies in design and hands-on experience with print, branding, and freelance work, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with small businesses, local clients, and creative projects across industries. Running my own design business has taught me that behind every pixel, paper, or print, there’s a story waiting to be told.

 

What I Do:

- I create original artwork and fine art prints out of my hand-made designs — ones that can transform walls, homes, and offices into statements of personal style.

- I produce custom commissions and product designs, working with clients who want something unique, handcrafted, and expressive.

- I explore patterns, illustrations, and graphics that can live across multiple formats: textiles, wall art, packaging, logos & branding, etc.

Philadelphia is more than my home base — it’s my creative playground. The city’s extensive murals and public artworks, mosaics, architecture, street art, and historic energy inform my aesthetic. I draw inspiration from Philly’s vibrancy, layering local color, textures, and stories into the work I make for people everywhere.
